Rosco White - Pirate Castle London Marathon Runner
25/04/2010 - 30/04/2010
* *

The Pirate Club, which is a Charity based on the banks of the Regents Canal in Camden Town, has been offering young Londoners fun, adventure and training for over forty years. The Pirate Castle is now fully accessible to people with disabilities and wheelchair users. The Pirates are committed to opening up the waterways to the whole community particularly special needs groups, who had previously been excluded.
Please consider holding your Children's parties at the Pirate Castle or using the narrowboats and canoes.(This will help boost funds.)
The Charity has raised over £100,000 to build and equip a fully accessible canal boat.
Another £25,000 is needed to fill the treasure chest and fund the project. The new vessel will have a working life of over 25 years and will take tens of thousands of people on voyages of discovery. Greater London's charities and community groups will be able to escape the stress and pressure of life during their time on the tranquil canals.

Rosco White, a 58 year young Pirate will be running the London marathon on April 25th. in aid of this worthy cause. Please support Rosco and our appeal by donating generously.
